Welcome to the first LGBTQ+ radio
About us
Radio Q, the only LGBTQ+ radio station in the Czech Republic, is a project of European People & Media, z. s., the organisation also behind the national broadcasting project WORLDRADIO.
Our music is carefully selected, taking into account the wishes of our listeners. We are a radio station for everyone – regardless of age, identity or life story.
We want to be the voice of those who are not always heard.
Topics
Our goal is to bring important topics concerning the LGBTQ+ community to our listeners.
Health prevention
Coming out
Transgender experiences
Prejudice and stigma
We will gradually introduce these and many other important topics through our broadcasts, interviews and discussions.
Where we are going
Online now
Radio Q begins as an online radio station.
A growing programme
Step by step, we will expand our programme with new shows, interviews and live hosted broadcasts.
Nationwide on DAB+
Our long-term goal is nationwide broadcasting via the DAB+ network.
Programme
The same programme seven days a week: music from six in the morning, talk at six in the evening, and a party from seven.
Monday – Sunday
MORNING PRIDE
The best music for your day — at work, at home, or wherever you are. Feel-good hits, fresh sounds and the perfect soundtrack to keep you going all day long.
QUEER LIFE
A podcast about life, challenges and discovering the LGBTQ+ community. Real stories, real people and conversations about the things that matter.
DEEP GOOD
Every day is a party!
A radio that speaks your language
Anyone can put a playlist together today. What cannot be put together is a voice that speaks your language and speaks to you. That is why Radio Q exists.
